I also conduct trainings and seminars with a variety of companies and organizations.

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
Goodness-of-fit between a patient and practitioner is of the utmost importance in the therapeutic relationship. I have created a large network of psychologists and psychiatrists who are experienced in a wide variety of specialities. Areas of specialty include, but are not limited to: eating disorders, neuropsychological evaluations, autism, sexual violence, gerontology, ADHD, identity, sexually-related topics, and trauma.
I spend time with each person to ascertain the best fit for their needs and desires and match them with a mental health professional with expertise and experience. I have personally met with each mental health professional whom I recommend.
I conduct trainings and seminars with a variety of organizations including governmental organizations, embassies, NGOs, and private companies. Seminar topics include, but are not limited to: trauma, crisis, intervention, and self-care. My work includes assisting groups in processing the participants’ experiences in the aftermath of a traumatic event; creation of clinical forms for use with patients; and training employees so to enhance their work with highly stressed populations and environments.
“Our organization has used Dr. Alana Siegel on multiple occasions, with all being excellent experiences for the attendees and for those who helped plan the event. We invited Dr. Siegel to speak at our virtual wellness summit, with participating employees in India, Kenya, and the United States. Dr. Siegel’s session helped the organization set the tone of ‘management with empathy’ and address our employees’ self-care needs during the Covid pandemic. Her global awareness, emotional intelligence, and practical advice were so well received, we invited her back this year, and will not hesitate to invite her again.”
Lila McCain, Head of Talent and Culture, BFA Global
“We invited Dr. Siegel to give an hour-long lecture and group sharing session on self-care to one of our teams of engineers who interact regularly with potentially upsetting medical content. She delivered a talk that was uniquely tailored to our needs, and shared both principles of psychology and practical insights that our members could start using immediately and the impact was felt immediately. She did all of this in a way that was engaging and easily understandable. Aside from her presentation, Dr. Siegel made it easy to work together. We would happily recommend her to other organizations.”
Dr. Jonah Mink, MD, Medical Director of Healthy.io
“The African Refugee Development Center (ARDC) protects, assists, and empowers African refugees and asylum seekers in Israel. Over the course of one year, Dr. Siegel came twice a month to give classes to our employees and volunteers on various topics related to trauma. She also provided guidance to the managers on how to set up a support system for the teams. Her knowledge and skills enhanced the staff's wellbeing and ultimately improved the organization’s work vis à vis the refugees.”
Anne Sapir, Program Manager, African Refugee Development Center
